graduating

Here is what I have to take before I graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a Concentration in Print Journalism and Minor in History and Capital Letters:

  • HIST 305 Bible History: The Old Testament (summer?)
  • HIST 403 Contemporary Africa (summer?)
  • Off-campus internship (summer, but counts as fall credit so I don't get charged extra)
  • Economics (fall?)
  • 300-level history course (fall?)
  • JOUR 325 copy editing (fall?)
  • JOUR 320 feature writing (fall?)
  • On-campus internship (fall?)
  • JOUR 460 online journalism (fall?)
  • Math or Accounting (spring?)
  • JOUR 450 law and ethics (spring?)
  • a journalism issues elective (spring?)
  • JOUR 420 public affairs reporting (spring?)
  • JOUR 475 perspectives on international media (spring?)
  • JOUR something from broadcast or PR :(
That makes 2 online summer classes while I'm interning *fingers crossed* somewhere in the summer, four classes and some time at the BG News in the fall and four classes in the spring. That's easy. I'm going to ask my advisor once I find out who she is. Srrs.

EDIT: I can totally do this.

stay in as long as you can. trust. this is the fun part, enjoy it. here is a thought, europe over the summer instead of history classes? even if you're broke as f**k, backpack it with a friend have an adventure - get crazy...the world ain't goin' no where it won't be going by the time you graduate.
